I bought of these figures in that pic for almost nothing. MOTU vintage toys are relatively cheap compared to Gi Joe, Transformers or Star Wars.

I imagine if they ever remake a Masters of the Universe film the vintage toys will skyrocket in value.

The Mummy figure by Diamond Select

I picked up the Diamond Select Mummy off of Amazon back a few months ago. Since Photobucket has revolted on us I thought I would help out by uploading pics to the forum. Anyways I took some photos in grayscale on my phone. The figure itself is bulky and quite heavy. The art design on the package looks absolutely phenomenal. Yeah...I know.. I opened the figure...but hey ..you gotta let em out of the box. 

Jean St. Jean is the sculpter for this figure and does the lions share of the sculpting for the Diamond Select line. Jean st Jean has done several amazing Statues in the Marvel Milestone DST line to include the Tomb of Dracula statue (a masterpiece).  If you don't have this piece in your collection... run...don't walk to your computer and order him now.

I paid 17.00 USD for this piece but the prices fluctuate online.

This is an amazing piece indeed, and the only other Diamond Select figure I have. Target had them online around Xmas last year and I convinced my wife to bundle it in with a bunch of other gifts we were buying so I could use a 30% coupon I had. Ended up costing me $11 or so. Gotta love a good Monster bargain.

Found this at Wal Mart today. They only had two left so I snagged them both. What a shock to find something of Universal Monsters in the stores and around Halloween time. Only $6.00.
