That paint job looks as though it represents being lit from above. The black areas are the shadows and the lighter areas represent the high spots being hit by light. At least, that's how it looks to me.

Picked up this Big Box VHS copy of Fulci's Zombie just like I used to see on the shelf at my local video rental store back in the day. Also finally got around to picking up the Fulci Zombie fridge magnet that thm tipped me off about some time ago. Better late than never. Great detail. Nice sculpt and paint.
