Looks like an episode of ROBOT CHICKEN.

I've been rearranging monster stuff lately and inevitably got distracted...

It was a Monster Mash! And then stuff got real... real quick.

They were cut-outs from the back of the boxes last Halloween. I still have the boxes but never got to cutting them out.

SpeedierThantheGrave

Yeah, they were Target exclusive boxes this past halloween. Pretty neat lil gimmick.
Here's the thread from this year's halloween look out.

How many different boxes did it take to assemble that castle?

Just one of each of the 3. The pieces were printed on the back panel.

Or were you implying that I screwed up and it took multiple attempts? :P

  No, it just looked like all that wouldn't fit on one box.

I love collecting original movie posters, but Ive also wanted to start covering my ceiling w/ them. Couldn't bring myself to poking holes thru originals and Im too cheap to spend $20+ on a reprint. Just found a guy on ebay who makes these 27x40 reprints on a nice vinyl and they are inexpensive. I got these 2 for $21 including shipping. Yes they are off a printer. Yes they look like it. But for me they are GREAT filler at a reasonable price. Plus he has all kinds of cool posters. Some obscure stuff. This is my lastest set...

Do you know where you are, Bartolome? I'll tell you where you are. You are about to enter Hell, Bartolome, HELL!...

And they are 24x36, not 27x40 like I had said. My bad!

Received these three books in the mail today, Roy Thomas Presents: The Heap.

Really nice reprint volumes of the golden age Heap stories. Before Swamp Thing, Man-Thing, and the other muck monsters there was The Heap. I have the Skywald appearances in the '70s, so I'm glad to have these golden age stories in nice reprint volumes. I bought them from KLS Books through a eBay listing for 50 bucks plus reasonable shipping. They were packed really well, and survived the rigors of the USPS unscathed. Yay, Muck Monsters!  ;D

I'm aware this seems a little out of place in a toy section. I thought about starting a new thread for latest book purchases in Memorable Memorabilia but since we already have Latest Gets and Weekly Finds (for the older stuff) it seemed unnecessary.

I'm for the variety, honestly.  Those are fantastic volumes.  I need to pick up those and The Thing! reprints.  I'm hoping they get the first two Frankenstein volumes completed soon.
