It's not a direct tie in to a genre film, but this is (I believe) the first record put out by The Peanuts a couple of years before they teamed up with Mothra as the little twin fairies.  Got it rather cheaply off of Ebay.

I would have preferred one of the records from later on with Mothra pictured on them, but the prices were a bit high (and the shipping from Japan made them higher).  sEARCH ON eBAY FOR "The Peanuts" and "Mothra" to see some examples.  I got lucky on this one.  I like it because it was an oddball.  I always thought that they would have been cool convention guests.  One of them has already passed away.

Great group! Is that the Apocalypse Creature? It's hard to tell the difference between that and the "Original" Creature.

Yea! Its the Apocalypse one.  I like it better than the "Original". The purple version of the Mutant is way cool too, although some of Frank's recolors aren't that cool to me...
