Just saw those Walking Dead mini figures on E-Bay for $20 to $100 PER FIGURE. Is that the going price now?

At Bevmo. Doom skull glasses by Fred  (Yes, Fred is the co. name.)

Hand blown thin glass = delicate but beautiful.

That figure is a limited edition blue prison walker exclusive to the San Diego comic con. Don't know what the original price was but $20 seems to be common asking price. I've seen them sell for as little as $6. The 1st series walker set goes for between $30-50 depending on seller and availability. I got mine(on it's way) near the lower end. The prison set I pre-ordered was around $21 + shipping.

Now, that sounds more reasonable. I love these things. Thanks for the info, WL.

Nice to see that 14 out of 15 reviews are 5 stars - and the 15th review doesn't go any lower than 4 stars.

The Creature deserves so less an effort.

I just got these from Ebay. They were reportedly prototypes for keychains that were pitched to the Universal Parks, but were not manufactured or sold. I'm not sure how true that is, but I liked the look, detail and style so I figured the were worth $19 to me. The Monster's pose reminds me of the Zoo Pics spoon and swizzle stick. They are 2.25 inches tall and are cast in metal.
You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, Fred.

I have 2 Franks and 1 Bride, bought from 2 different sellers a few years apart - so I don't think the "prototype" story holds water.

But they are cool and the price seems reasonable.

Just got this in the mail:

It is a 2011 collection of ALL the Mad Magazine horror movie satires, Halloween related stories, etc. for over 50 years.  It even includes the little horror-related "Marginal Thinking" cartoons from those years!  For UMA members, this collection offers only the cream of the cream.

It is a nice, large book at 8.75 in. x 10.75 in. (about the size of a Mad Magazine) and 386 pages.

The articles appear to be in chronological order as published.  My only quibble is that the pages are not numbered and there is no index.  If you want to go back and read a specific article, you just have to remember about when it was published and thumb through the book.

I couldn't begin to recommend this book highly enough!
