When you have a chance, would love to see the lineup together.

If I can find all of them. :) Luckily, they were all in the same box. Here's all of them except for the new one, which hasn't arrived, yet.

Wow Mike- That collection is awesome!  I had no idea there had been so many produced over the years!  I think my favorite is the guy on the far right that is the tallest.  I am really drawn to the blue guy too though.

I was just thinking it would be cool to get a printed black lagoon background and have them all staged in front of it on a shelf or a desk so it looks like they're hanging out in the lagoon together.  A Creature Convention if you will. 💚

I think that may be all of the licensed ones? The biggest one and the two in front of him are the ones from CVS (Stuffins) from 1997 (I think). Oh wait, you said far right! Never mind. That blue one does stand out from the crowd!  :)

Maybe I can get somebody to paint a mural on the wall.  ;D

I saw a pic of the box from the B&W Neca Creature figure and I believe it had a blue tone on the front.  If you get / have that one, it might be fun to stage the blue plush Creature next to it.

It uses this Aus. poster.

Not suitable for children in 1954. 70 years later, and its rated G. With many kids not having the attention span to appreciate it. :'(

That was for Aus. Like England, they had stricter censorship on horror movies than the US did.

I'm surprised they didn't paint over that for the NECA box. Can you imagine some kid trying to buy one and getting carded by the cashier?  ;D

Apparently, this thing was licensed. It's called an "Ugly Doll". I call it hideous! It's a wannabee, at best. Not for me.

I did not realize the b&w creature box was an actual poster from somewhere.  That's neat.

There were three "Star Trek" Uglies, too.

Me I suspect that Universal just put that "warning" on the poster as a teaser to entice potential ticket buyers (in particular kids).

;)

This thing belongs in our "What Was Universal Thinking?" thread.
