Lotta new stuff. Here are some UM I picked up recently. Found IM at Walmart. Scored the Creech at local Meijer and the Wolf Man at local comic book convention. The Shock Shots I bought on ebay.

And these figures. I ordered the Captain Spaulding from Trick or Treat Studios. I scored Captain Blake and Harry Warden at local comic book convention.

One more for the monster game shelf!  Planet of the Apes goes hand in hand with the classics for a lot of us AND it was in Famous Monsters alot, so I'm counting this one as appropriate.

I got this cheap, and I'm a big fan of the original Apes movies, so I'm looking forward to play it.  It definitely seems.... interesting.  You all play as Taylor, specifically aspects of his personality (Clever, Commander, Cynical, and Defiant) and you're working together to get through various scenes as you progress through the game.  That's about all I know right now.

Oh, my! I definitely want this.

I've seen it at Ollie's if you have one of those in your area.  I do recommend looking up a video for it first and seeing if it holds your interest, as it isn't terribly visually appealing as a game, outside of the gorgeous box.  The game came out about 5 years ago, so you can probably find it for a decent price online.

Thanx 👍🏻

I really like the Invisible Man in the box, it's a shame there's not a Mego online store you can just buy this stuff from, it's not worth it to me to set foot in a Way*Mart but I'd buy it in a second if it were online (and it's not on the Wally World .com store)

Mummies from Pallbearer Press and a lone Wolf Man that I found at Walmart.

That WM sculpt (body, Chaney face, WM face) is, maybe, the best I've seen, on a toy.

The Mummy figure looks a little small compared to the others.  Especially compared to the Frankenstein figure, since they were portrayed by the same actor, they should be the same size (minus the platform boots, of course).

Other than that, they all look GREAT.

The Mummy didn't have the additions of the Monster's flat headpiece and built-up roofer's boots.  He's also supposed to be desiccated from all those years of desert burial.

I'm taking the boots into consideration.  The headpiece added no more than an inch (if that).  As to the mummy being shrunken and emancipated...yeah, but not the actor.   Karloff played both roles so the figures should be the same height, less the boots, and sure looks a foot shorter than the monster, and the boots aren't that high.

comixzombie

The height difference was something I definitely noticed. Even with the boots, they do differ pretty drastically in height. I think they fudged the heights despite the actor, which I'm honestly fine with. If they make other Frankensteins with the different actors, I'd kinda prefer if they were the same height.
