When Slave Leia comes out in wave 2, I'll buy her. Whenever they get around to Darth Vader, The Emperor, and ROTJ Jedi Knight Luke, I'll buy those. But, I can't afford to buy them all, either.

When the Slave Leia figure is released, capture her, and hold on tight.

I picked up an Uncle Gilbert figure at Chiller last weekend...thought about the Boris Karloff variant of Dr Jekyll, but it just didn't grab me. As many have already stated, the paint is just not right. Still, the Phantom retro more than justifies the entire line...sheer perfection. I bought 3!

I'd argue that the Retro Creature really justifies the entire line, and Phantom is the icing on the cake :) Of course, I bought 2 Phantoms myself. Damn shame they are ending the Retro's because they were making some really fun stuff.

Now, I'm really excited to see Super7 & Funko's joint 3 3/4" line at Toyfair 2014. I'm curious to see all their retro figures, but especially Back to the Future and UM.

I am cautiously optimistic about this announcement. But I cannot get to "super excited" or "bummed" until I at least view the prototypes.

The idea of paying (probably)$9.99 for toys the size and scope of the Burger King Kid's meals toys of a few years ago tends to make me approach this cautiously.

I also never cared for 4" figure format. There's only so much detail they can cram into it. Also, if the Chaney lawsuit hasn't been settled, were in for a world of generics again.

$14.99-$19.99 is the target I have heard.

Hope that's for a two pack or loaded with accessories

Hope you're wrong, 'cause I won't be paying 20 bucks for a BK sized toy!

Yikes! That is a scary thought. Who do they think they are pricing higher than premium Star Wars figures? Any confirmation on this? Surely more sane prices will prevail.

Shouldn't this be moved to a new thread if we are no longer talking about DST?

Is there an existing thread for this line? If not, what would be a good title?

My local comic shop called me today and said the Bride and Wolfman banks are in and they held them for me. I picked them up tonight. They are amazing!  Better than the pictures. I ope they do 2 more banks next year as a last hurrah.  Dracula and Mummy would be a good choice but I am sure it would be a generic Dracula.  I also got my other figures today. Hot rod Herman, Uncle Gilbert, Hot Rod Grampa and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde the DST version. I have the TRU version so when I dispaly them I can use the Karloff head. All I need now is the DST Hunchback and the retro Mutant and my quest has ended for the year. I will say   the thought has crossed my mind to open the Munsters and build Spot. But that should come later after I finish my Universal Room expansion. I am almost ready to break down the wall from the original room to go in the new section.
