Is that a b/w Metaluna Mutant? Don't they know the movie was made in color? (Sideshow didn't.)

That is what I was thinking. Why b/w? Odd.

I am lucky in that I have 3 TRU's in my city and 2 more TRU stores 1/2 hour drive away. I purchased all of this line at TRU except the select figures and bust banks which I struggled to find/order at the local comic shops. I seriously wish that TRU carried the bust banks..I don't see why they don't they had several other DST bust banks just not the monsters. Makes no sense.

I just need the munsters uncle gilbert and bust banks wolfy and bride and I am done this year. I am waiting to see van Helsing in person before I decide, the creature and Son of Franky are a given. I still need a B/W legacy series 1 to finish my collection. Sad to see it over.

Would people rather we just released two Black-and-white figures in the new Legacy Series box set? We've seen This Island Earth (and MST3K:TM), and we know the film is in color, but the B&W Mutant still looks cool. Pretend it's based on one of the production stills.

Ravenloft, are you struggling to order the Select figures and banks through your local comic shop? They should be able to order those for you with no problems, as most are in stock, and can be ordered individually. Sorry if they're giving you trouble. I can get you product codes if you need them.

I am current with all the Select releases so far, just had a whole lot of trouble tracking them down in the past. I actually got a store to order some in stock this year vs. a prepaid special order. I swooped in and bought the hunchback and Jekyll. I am worried about the bust banks because they look so cool a non monster collector could get them if I don't find them first at the local shop that I got just to stock this stuff finally rather than order it.

I try not to order anything by mail because I believe people will send damaged boxes and claim it was during shipping, or figures with broken parts, sloppy paint, or paint/clothing errors. Even at TRU I look at all available figures and spend a considerable amount of time to pick the best ones before I ever make my way to the checkout. I want to see it and evaluate it before I buy it.

Why doesn't Toys R Us carry the Universal Monsters Bust Banks when they carry the UM figures, UM minimates and several other lines from DST are there? DST Walking Dead bust banks are at every TRU store I have visited but I have never seen a Frankenstein or Creature on the shelf despite that TRU's website now says Frankenstein was/is sold in stores (where is the creature on the TRU online store?)
Is there any hope physical store locations will get a shipment of Wolfman and Bride bust banks in November?

Now, what do you think?   >:D

A lot of people's first exposure to Metaluna Mutant was on a black and white TV in the 60's anyway. So it makes a little sense if you squint just right, lol. But I will always prefer my toys/figures in color. The ilms might be black and white---but a sculpted representation needs color....at least for me.

Mord

My first exposure to the Mutant was a black and white still in Famous Monsters magazine. I have no problem with black and white. I just want to know why Son of Frankenstein doesn't look like Karloff.

Hahahahahahaha!

Wolfman

How about doing a Thing from Another World figure? Nothing against the Metaluna Mutant, but the Thing is a cooler monster, and better movie, IMO.
