After months of darkness, the foreboding aura that is my avatar has returned.  This ghost is one of my favorite Halloween icons of all time.  I love putting him up every year.  For me, he really embodies the spirit of Halloween...

Okay .. have lots of bullets .. 

I wanted a new handle as I was using Hazeleyes with an avatar of a black cat, black background and hazeleyes .. It was something that I came up with quickly as I wanted to join a forum to ask a question. I didn't like the handle and decided when joining a different forum to change to Daisy (to honor my beloved deceased cat) but it was taken and since a daisy is a 'flower' .. I went with Flower.

Looking for avatars ... 'Flower' keep bringing up pet skunks and I went with a Disney avatar at first until I found my current avatar which I've been using for eight years .. I love Bambi & Thumper but my avatar has nothing to do with Disney and it's been explained many times over on other forums.

I love Disney's 'Flower' but HE has nothing to do with my avatar. I do have him in crystal and other things but my avatar is from a florist ad.

It is unfortunate that today, I went into a forum where I was banned (long story) and found this ... http://www.classicrockforums.com/forum/f14/whos-got-cool-username-you-wish-you-thought-17579/index3.html  ..  I don't know what 'chit' is or why I'm being called one or why bring up someone who is banned .. What hurts is the person who called me 'chit' was a friend.

I also found threads where people that I don't even know brought me up and the forum Admin posted a sick picture of a skunks rear end in reference to me. She knows that I can't protest and talk about drama queens, she kept 'leaving the forum in tears' because other posters didn't agree with her but she never leaves, just bans people and eats up  the drama of people begging her not to leave.

I had begged the admins there to please delete my account when problems came up but the SOBs refused .. that's all that I asked. It's not like I came to the forum for one day and started problems as I worked hard building the forum  .. my posts and account should've been deleted as requested.

Sorry I just need to vent.

The forum Admin that posted the picture should have been booted, or at the very least given some kind of a warning. Just my opinion.
It is very unfortunate that these few imbiciles on some of the forums (especially the topic- specific ones) can really, really mess things up for the people who behave and act in a civil manner. I think that what happens is that over time people get bored and start grasping for straws looking for something just to stick their toe into the conversation so others think that they are big and bad for whatever reason.
The forum Admin at the music place where you were sounds a bit like a prima- donna. I shouldn't say (type) this because I really don't know but from what your saying she sounds very superficial and immature.
I was on a sports forum a few years ago and the events were similar, Flower, and this forum was run by a Major national broadcasting agency. 
I cannot for the life of me understand why an account is not deleted but only deactivated (Facebook, for example). This even makes me wonder a little bit.

Thanks .. it's upsetting but I'm so glad that I'm out of there  ..  I tend to ignore *ssholes online and in real life. I'm a firm believer in karma and it will kick in.  The Admin who posted the picture and harassed me had been banned on at least one forum were she was an admin .. This is the longest that she and her side kick have been on any forum.

Hey, marsattacks666 - I just noticed the Linnea Quigley quote under your avatar - where is your avatar pic, anyway?

My avatar meaning is probably obvious  .  It stems from my interest in Bigfoot, Yeti, Fouke Monster and other Hairy Hominids.  Influenced by King Kong, Mighty Joe Young & The Abominable Snowman of The Himalayas.

Oh - and my pic is of a Bigfoot sculpture I made.

I have an avatar? Seriously mine sum's up my attitude to life there are always two road's. The unfortunate thing is my Hyde side usually wins which means more lousy puns and even more lousy limericks.

Mine was a gentle nudge to my buddy Ray, whose Coffin Joe avatar says "I Don't Like Dramas", a quote from "At Midnight, I'll Take Your Soul". By Ray's admission, he doesn't like dramas.

I chose mine because "Hamlet" is my favorite story of all time. Kenneth Branagh's film version is my favorite version of it. And, well, because I *DO* like dramas.
