I havent finished it yet, lol. I wanted to finish the "fun" noggins first. 8) Started Dracula's.

I will post  pics of Jekyll's normal little sissy boy face after I finish up Dracula. he is currently giving me fits because of the large amount of white involved with his mid section. White is a horrible paint to work with. Clumps, lumps, cat hair----killing me.

Oh---by the way Count Z---and anyone else interested. I showed these photos to Scott at Monarch. This was his reply:

"WOW!
The detail and use of color on the faces is AMAZING!! The test shots sure did go to a deserving home indeed! Are you planning a drac with the crouching legs and grabbing arms plus The Victim? That would be cool to see. Your pictures really give me a boost to get these molds into production.

Keep ‘em coming Richard."

So~~ maybe this little paint up exercise will prompt Scott to make these available to all collectors. That would be awesome!!!! I would be happy to be a part of that particular process. 8)

And, if it doesn't happen, we can blame you, too!
No, seriously, I really hope he does release them, eventually. Sooner than later, hopefully.

Welll---he's leaning towwards making a limited release of 1,000 kits or less. Sooooooo--keep your fingers crossed. because these were "shelved". he was concerned about the "bugs" with the modls, and people being disappointed if he released them as is. I told him people would be thrilled to get them at all. Meanwhile:

Shots of Dracula with staircase base, and walking legs/traditional arms. The Crouching legs and scooping arms are going to be utilized with a revell Dracula MOM that I have coming shortly. Gonna get another victim and alter and paint her differently and display together. But for now---here's Dracula, and a crummy close up of Jekyll's head. Yea Monster Scenes!!!! 8)

Thanks Mord. I was trying for an amalgamation between him and Lee....hence the blood dripping mouth.  But the Blue eyes definitely were all Bela, lol. ;)

Really hope Monarch goes ahead with these, now that he's seen how cool the painted test shots look.

While I've got the Drac Monsters of the Movie kit, I would grab up multiples of the JEKYLL & HYDE so that I could build one for each head to display the different phases of the transformation.

UPDATE ON THESE FROM MONARCH, AS WELL AS GORGO, ETC:

To share with the greater hobby community, here is where we stand;

My artist and friend Gary is still AWOL, so we are forging ahead with the talent and dedication of Sir John Graziano, artiste extraordinaire. John and Gary are Monarch family, and both will take a strong role in keeping the art work bustling at Monarch. We also take great pride in featuring the talent of Douglas Klauba.

During my absence last year, the OEM in China underwent major restructuring and the tools have been dusted off and delivered to a new and hopefully more responsive OEM.
Our new OEM is very anxious to do the job right and quickly.
We are very anxious to demonstrate to the hobby community that Monarch is not a passing ship in the night. We are committed to the long term. The customers will tell us when it is time to pack it in.

Our OEM has pinned September as a production start date for the 'Vampire" and Jekyll kits, Gorgo, and possibly a glow Ghost. A delivery date prior to Christmas is achievable if production in Sept is met.

2014 has a few great possibilities with the cyclops at the pattern stage, the moonsuit leaving the drafting table for the pattern dept., and a very VERY cool new kit to fit the Adventure Series #2 kit. There is never a shortage of great ideas, only time.
Scott
