Hepcat, love that song. The Dylan version from his Rolling Thunder days was pretty sweet!

I wanted to post a video of Dylan's Tweeter and the Monkey Man by the Traveling Wilburys but there aren't any. And not Rolling Thunder either but white lightning instead:

"Dreaming" is perhaps my favorite BLONDIE single... those videos are all sweet.  I love BLONDIE.  However, I'm contrary to the pack.  This is my favorite:
Blondie - Rapture
I think "Rapture" is important and underrated.  I think it was a huge hit, but, everybody loved to hate it, I think even those who bought the 45 (which I never did).  I just think it gets better and better.  Seriously, a great record.

This starts out rough... at least for some people... perhaps LENNON wasn't happy with his performance afterwards... but by the end of that performance, he is stunning.

So here I was going to post a different video of this Kinks' classic, when I found this one:

Todd Rundgren - Hello Its Me
If anyone had any doubt that TODD RUNDGREN is unusual will have any such doubt dismissed by that video.

There are two old BEATLES films on this Hollywood Palace clip:

Little Eva is fantastic! And so were the Shindig dancers!

Here's another one I really like from Shindig:

One of my all time favorite Todd-tunes. This one takes me back in the time machine to my youth every time!!

The Moody Blues - GO Now ( 60's )

Go Now is the underappreciated hit of the Moody Blues. They may subsequently have matched it but I don't think they ever exceeded it, yet when we saw the Moody Blues perform at the Sony Centre in Toronto about five years ago it was about their only well known tune they didn't play!

:o

Annoying.

^^^^ Go Now would be the perfect encore last song.

dee dee sharp - mashed potato time

The brunette dancer on the highest dais absolutely steals the show!

What's particularly striking about these TV performances is precisely how unpolished and naive the members of the girl groups look:
