Winter in the Adirondacks

Here are some pics from last week of the snowfall we had. It's warmed up since and alot of the snow has melted and refroze making some lovely slippery spots!

Great pics. I live in the same area, so I know exactly what you mean. I'm glad it's warming up, and I hope it continues. Personally I hate the snow, but it makes for some great photos at least!

I just hope we don't get any more. Probably will, though.

I'm even further up North than you are! I live right near Plattsburgh actually.

RedKing- Those trees are big & huggable! I love the little pouches of snow in the boughs. I'm sure you'll have more snowy scenes to photograph- it's only January! 
Scatter- You can have my portion of the snow! I grew up in Michigan, and I've had enough in my lifetime!    I remember my socks getting wet & frozen on the way to school teehee

I hate you both. I LOVE snow, and never get any. 

I feel the same way.

But if I were snowed in a couple months out of the year and had to deal with muddy sleet, etc....  I would probably agree with them.  Especially if I had to make my way to work and back five days a week.

I am retired and live in Southern California and love the rain - because we have so little of it.

One of those "grass is always greener" things, I guess.

Damn grass here is usually BROWN because I live in a FURNACE. BTW, I love SoCal.......and I'm willing to sleep on couches, porches, in cars, you name it.

I adore snow-in pictures.  In real life, I don't want to be anywhere near the stuff.
