OK, here's the last one, the NX-01



I think this one turned out pretty well. Even with all of the detail I don't think I lost sight of the overall effect of a metallic ship with the blue under- and back-lighting.

Anyway, I hope you all like them and that the Trek fans felt I did the ships justice.

CreepysFan - I negotiated to get the art back, and plan on adding some background detail - nebula, star fields and the like to them, and frame them up.
They wanted them painted without  backgrounds since the art is to be composited onto standard textures. Here's a sample of my painting of the refit on one of their standard backgrounds...


But to display them I think they need an environment.
