True , The Mattel Cap gun Collectors have no limits.  :o

Though I'm not a cap gun collector I do have fond memories of "Shootin' Shells" and Greenie Stick Um Caps.  They'd never sell toy guns like that today.

I had that Snub Nose .38 with a shoulder holster. Great stuff, but I could just imagine the litigation if some kid managed to put a real bullet into one of those guns and got it to go off. It would probably have blown the gun up in his hand.

I loved cap guns as a kid. The best ones I had were made by a company called Edison. They were the most realistic I had ever seen and they shot strip caps. I had a machine gun with a folding stock and a Walther PPK. We used to play war ALL THE TIME!

I haven't ever heard of that happening.

I  had a double holster Fanner-50 set. Oh yeah bring it!  My brother had a lever action rifle maybe Kit Carson (definitely not a Rifleman one). Was your derringer belt-buckle mounted?

You sure know how to put a smile on a toy collectors face with these pics Dan. Love that boxed Treehouse.  I just picked up this Canadian variation that I think you'll get a kick out of. As a side note, the other side of the box is in English.
