Ok, well, I haven't got much that's terribly interesting, but in the simple spirit of participation, I'll post these. Every year all the Japanese robot (my other hobby) collectors get together and this year Bob Eggleton came along. Turns out he's a friend of a friend and lives about an hour away. He brought some art prints to sell, including two he did of the Creature for a show in San Francisco last October. I couldn't decide which to get since one had nicer, brighter colors, but I liked the theater ad on the other. I decided to just grab both and Bob signed them for me.

Great stuff today, guys. Where's the girls??

That's what I've been asking myself for years!

I suppose my Sunday Show-N-Tell contribution could have easily been posted within an art thread somewhere else here at the forum, but then I wouldn't have a post here in this thread! So to heck with it.

How many of you remember the Universal Monsters Portfolio that was released back in 1991 by Avalon Products? This was a portfolio offered through Diamond Select for sale in comic and collectibles shops.

The portfolio consisted of 10 different autographed lithos each measuring 12" x 16" in size. Some of the art is great, and some of it is so-so. I love the abstract and dark Bride piece. The Creature art is bitchin' too!

They're over here at Castle Famous! It's a scene right out of Orgy Of The Dead!  :)

Isn't that the job of the General? To present badges of honor to UMA WACS is a job exclusively reserved for me. Yes, I very carefully, and meticulously pinned those buttons to their shirts.  :)

Terry, you are just doing your duty and I appreciate it.  We used to call it "taking one for the team", but the pickens weren't usually so...nice. ;)

Okay - here's my first attempt to post a pic within my massage.  This is a revised version of the Timeless Treasures Recordable Talking Wall Clock that I inserted classic monster stills into (as opposed to my family pics for grandma).  I then popped in a DVD for each movie and recorded a five second sound bite.  Of course the silent movies I used music for (Phantom - Tocatta in D Minor and Experiment in Terror for London After Midnight).    My first of hopefully many Show-n-tell pics.

Jeff, you have to put image brackets around it.

Thanks Bobby!  I knew I read that somewhere but couldn't find where.
