Did Aurora do any manufacturing in Canada?  If not, I doubt they would have made any changes to their packaging on goods to be shipped north of the border.
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

Yes, Aurora manufactured model kits in Canada for distribution in Canada. Sometimes the plastic was a different colour in Canada than in the States. For example, my U.S. Frankenstein has light grey plastic parts while my Canadian Frankenstein has black plastic parts. It's quite possible though that the colour of plastic used in both countries may have varied over the course of several years of production runs.

Any kits with the words "Aurora Plastics (Canada), Toronto, Rexdale" or "Made and Litho'd in Canada'' on the side of the box or the words "INSTRUCTIONS IN ENGLISH AND FRENCH" or "INSTRUCTIONS EN FRANCAIS À L'INTÉRIEUR" written in larger letters on the front of the box are Canadian. My original long box Canadian Frankenstein, Dracula and Wolf Man kits have none of these words though. Some Canadian boxes have a comparatively dull finish as the designs were printed directly onto the cardboard box stock as opposed to being printed onto glossy paper which was then glued onto the cardboard box.

In summary, if you look carefully you might be able to tell whether an Aurora kit in an Ebay listing is a Canadian issue , or you may not. Good luck!
