I am in Wichita.

The early run of Lunar Landers had the original coating but the later ones yellowed. I don't blame him for putting a UV coating on his display glass anyway since the reds could fade. Better safe then sorry.

Are there any good Antique or Vintage toy stores in Wichita? I'm about two hours away.

You two should get together with Bigbud and Horror1o1 and go on a picking expedition together.

:)

My buddy Mopar has a small shop at a Flea Market. He also does Mail order.

Hero Haven has vintage to current with decent prices and sales.

We have two Vintage Stock stores in town but they don't get much in anymore on the vintage side.

Paramount Antique Mall has three locations around Wichita, but the West location has the best chance of having the goodies. The Flying Moose is near it as well, so check them out too.

Comic shops like Prairie Dog and Wizards Asylum are worth a look as well.

If I remember anything else I will post it.

I would laugh if anyone here already knew me from cons or my old shop at the flea market. Here is a shot with Katy Manning from Doctor Who. You might know me as John Fincher.

He's not missing the top of the door by much, but she is still tiny.

It's a bit of both. I'm 6'4 and she is 5 foot tall.

I think she is cute as a bug.

And as mad as a hatter. In a good way.
I thought moderating a panel with her would be a breeze. Keeping her on track was a chore, and  I didn't get to half the things I had prepared. I wanted to ask her about being a childhood friend of Liza Minnelli just because people there didn't believe it was true. She fell into my lap at one point, and I didn't mind a bit. She gave a great performance and then it was over. We stopped for pics as we were walking out the back door.

That reminds me, I should post this pic.

That time Doctor Who met the Universal Monsters, sort of...

Grabbed another old Trick Or Treat bag.

Not a big Burger King fan, but I do love Halloween advertising items. This one is from 1977 and it was only $8.

Hard to believe the asking prices for some of the old TOT bags on eBay. Like always, be patient and shop around. eBay prices are the very definition of chaos.

Maybe that's what they mean by "Flame Retarded".
