Grabbed this lot of 40 Topps Funny Valentines trading cards from 1959.



Got the lot for 12 bucks plus shipping which was a pretty good deal. I don't have this set so getting a few to enjoy the Jack Davis art is good, especially so cheaply. One thing that spurred me to bid was the piece of MPC Weird Monsters packaging that came with the lot (check the upper left corner of the pic). It may just be a piece, but it may be the best piece featuring the iconic MPC Monster image from 1964. And, the price was right- free, with the cards.

After some box mending, some light cleaning and a part or two, I finally have the Mattel Shogun Godzilla all ready to go. Been a long long time wanting a boxed one. I have another one to mess around with but this one stays in its box.

Totally awesome gojirafan!!! That's my favorite piece in my collection (I don't have the box though). One of these days I hope to own the Mattel Rodan. Pretty pricey every time I see it though.

Thanks Geezer. I snagged the Rodan on ebay about 15-18 years ago for a good price. Nothing broken on it as well. Finding a decent box alone is like winning the lottery. One day.

I finally nailed down a big want with this Dracucycle. I've been looking for just the bikes and wasn't expecting to find a complete set with box and instructions but it was too good to pass up especially in this condition. Of course this makes me want the others more.
