Found this unused House of Frankenstein Embroidered Patch on eBay:

The 2" x 3" patch was quite reasonable.  When I saw another still in it unopened bag with header card, I decided to upgrade - But it sold to someone else for $81.00.  Too much for me.  Not sure about when these were made.  They almost always show up in amazing shape.

This House of Frankenstein Rubber Stamp mounted on a 2½" x 2½" Wood Block seems to have some age.  I believe it was found in a large group of stamps, some of which dated back to the mid '70's.  This one is undated.  It bears the same image as was used on their Metal Stamp and Bumper Decal.

This well used Frankenstein Rubber Stamp mounted on a 1½" x 1¾" Wood Block came from the same seller, but differs from the HOF image.

For one of my rare non-Frankenstein purchases, I picked up this 1960's Topstone Rubber Co. "Character Pumpkin" Devil Halloween Bucket:

The Devil stands 7" high - 9" if you include the bail.  He has a pretty decent paintjob and his original handle.

I couldn't resist him.

Thanks.

Of course not all of these were obtained in the last week.  These are my more recent acquisitions that have been lying around waiting for me to photograph them.

I started photographing and posting because another member mentioned that it was sad there were so few new posts recently.  I felt partly responsible for that situation.

I'm posting out of guilt.

This 7" tall Frankenstein Bobblehead was Made by Rotary Hero in 2010.  It was sold exclusively in the Osaka, Japan Universal Studios park.

Since they are not seen outside of Japan very often, I will post a few extra pictures.

I always love the bad translations on Asian packages.

Rotary Hero also made these Universal Studios Japan park exclusive Monsters Banks:

I suspect there is a least one other Monsters Bank, but these are the only ones I have seen.

Sadly they made only the three banks in that series, and three bobble heads of the same characters in their bobble series. Why no love for the Creature, Osaka, why?  :'(

#6458

Got this in the mail two days ago:

(Click on pictures so see larger images.)

Frank has a very thin crack around his right foot where it meets the base.  But it was securely glued and shows no movement.  I just need to touch up the black paint and no one will ever suspect it ever existed.

His legs look short.  I must have been tilting the camera down at him.  He stands the full regulation 23½" for these Son of Frankenstein plaster statues from Mexico.

I'd been looking for one of these statues for a l-o-n-g time.  They are a LOT harder to find than the smaller 18" statues.

FRANKENSTEIN (Monster) Halloween Window Flasher - 6.5 in x 11 in. x 3 in. - Possible Dreams, 1989.

This is a silly Halloween Decoration that uses the same head sculpt that Enecso used in one of their Frankenstein night lights.  It is a pose that is reminiscent of old Frankenstein turn signals.

This is their "Vampire" Window Flasher.  (They were listed together on eBay.)

                                        Faces flash red.

I like some of the silly stuff - especially the Halloween decorations.

I still look look for VHS tapes at thrift stores, etc. I don't play them anymore, but I love some of the artwork!

When times are dark, don't consider art to be merely a distraction; rather, think of it as a lifeline-  Neil Gaiman paraphrase.

Picked up this Dark Purple 2" Palmer Frankenstein.  Never seen this color before.

That was fun to find.

But I was really happy to finally find a really rare WHITE Palmer.

Yeah.  I know it is not the same as finding a 3" White Palmer Frankenstein - But they seem to be equally rare.

(I'm still looking for my 3" Frankenstein White...  I know it's out there somewhere.)
