Couldn't they have at least tried to come up with a less suggestive name!? "Ball Monsters", or somethin'?

Well, it's better than "Terror Testicles".

Yes, I suppose it could have been worse. Still, not as bad as the Batman squirtgun.

It's been pretty quiet on the monster front for me lately (got about a dozen kaiju on the way though), but I couldn't leave NYCC empty handed, now could I? I managed to snag a pretty decent lunchbox. Also, completed my Monster Balls set on Ebay last week, too.

You go that box on the floor of the show? Good find. Mind if I ask ya what it set you back? Bet there was a lot of good stuff out there due to the economy.

Yes BK, Joe lived very close to me in Woodbury NY back in the 60's. I went to elementary school with his twin daughters. They used to go door to door in the neighborhood selling back issues of   Joe's SICK magazine. Got most of my collection from them! I actually saw Jack Kirby in Joe's studio one day.

I don't mind. I dropped $85 on it. It's got the thermos, too. I'm not sure if that's a good price or not, but it seemed fair in my limited experience for the condition. Especially at a con, where you'd think the prices would normally be higher.

I didn't think there was a heck of a lot else. Someone had 1/2 sheets for "The Walking Dead" and "Isle Of The Dead" and an insert for "Spider Baby", but I didn't even bother to ask about prices since I knew it'd be too high for me. There were Creature and Frankenstein soakies, a King Kong bank, some 3 3/4" Remcos (all from the same guy as my lunchbox), a couple Megos here and there and one vendor had a full set of vintage EC comic horror host masks. Can't remember much else, off hand.

I've never seen that switchplate. I have a modest collection of Religious plastic, was that made by Heartland Plastics?
