Here's another gumball display card I got from the same seller.

Was that handsome fellow's image not also featured in a comic book ad for some sort of monster product in the late sixties or early seventies? I have a vague recollection of that ad being in the Comic Book Ad thread that fell victim to the great purge of April 2014.

???

Some of these fellows bear a bit of resemblance to that critter. However, I don't remember that exact monster being in another ad.

Where do you work?

I work at a comic store in Florida.  I handle the mail orders and internet sales, and of course, work the floor.  I know a few UMA folks are regulars!

Pinellas County, specifically Clearwater.  Is it alright to talk about my store on here?  I don't want to come off as a shill.  It's just my day-to-day stuff that keeps me in the thick of all this monstery goodness.

I love the Clearwater/St. Pete/Tampa area. I always made it a point to visit Haslam's Books while on vacation. Scored many a comic, monster mag, and monster movie book there over the years.

Also, north of you a few miles on 19 there was a comic book store called Wonder Water that also sold bottled water out of the other side. I bought several Eerie Pubs and Skywald monster mags there around 15 years ago. Is Wonder Water still in business?

I actually haven't been to Haslam's.  Wonder Water still apparently has one location, but I haven't been there.  I'm not sure what happened with them, they used to have a half dozen locations or more!

Cool stuff! Especially the Craft House paint-by-numbers! You gonna paint it, or leave it sealed?

I'd like to leave it sealed and try to find one with a trashed box for painting.

Anyone keeping track of these p-b-n sets?  I wondered what the current average price was on these nowadays.
