Hey Creepy Jeff my ole fiend! Nice ring display! sad to say i only have one flicker ring (frankie)... and that IS sad esp for a 60's monster kid...

CreepyJeff

Hep - sorry but as much as I love Casper (and the monsters are on his header card), he'll never be a monster.  :D

Hya, Freddie!  Blown away by the fact you have just the one flicker ring.  You have soooo many vintage 60s monster goodies that I'll never be able to find or swing though.  Hoping beyond hope to one day own one of the original wallets!

But how can you sleep at night without completing the set?

FINALLY completed my 1960s monster flicker ring set.  Also picked up these really cool pewter monster rings molded after the Aurora models.  Very heavy and deluxe and an excellent price for all seven rings ($75 plus shipping off ebay).  Bought the ring display at Michaels today.  Very happy monster camper!

[/quote] Wow Jeff, love your ring collection! I would love to own a set of the pewter rings. Looks like all Aurora heads except the Phantom (8" Sideshow head, I think) & Nosferatu (7" Mezco head). Are these still available? I agree with you about Casper...not a monster, don't need it.

Yeah, Casper would be cool to have and all, but is definitely not necessary.

Casper goes for much less, I'd add it if I had the uni's done

I know what you mean (for the sake of completion), but it really doesn't fit (aesthetically) with the rest of his collection.

I guess if you're a Casper fan, get it :)

Congratulations on completing the monster flicker rings, Jeff. I only have the Creature so far...but maybe someday. I like the pewter ones so much I went on evilBay and bought a set! Helluva deal, too, all those cool heavy rings in Aurora (mostly) style for 81 bucks. Thanks for the post which turned out to be a heads-up.  :)

Thanks for the info, Mike & Jeff.

Got these guys in the mail today. They will be the crew of a custom Haunted Hulk I'm putting together. I switched out the Creature Of Doom for a black one, and the Monster (Frankenstein) for a lighter shade of purple one, to have exact color matches- two monsters for each color. I didn't have one of the cake decoration knockoff witches so I put that in my MPC display. I'll post the custom HH when I finish it.
