You just called it "Rat-Bat-Spider", while Adam added "Crab" to the end. It's identified both ways.
I've always heard it referred to as "Rat Bat Spider Crab". I guess the "Crab" is optional for the wild & crazy kids today.  :D
ALWAYS MONSTERING...

Kids today, with their cell phones and their "texting". They just don't have the time to give monsters four animal names, anymore!

Actually, I've never heard them called anything.  I didn't even recognize them as being from a movie.

I just added the "crab" because it had pinchers.  The pinchers look a lot like the ones the Metaluna Mutant has.

(Note to Moderators:  Spell Check does not recognize "Metaluna" as a legit word.  (And it still does not recognize "Bela", either!)

How about "pincers" then? Does Spell Check recognize "pincers"?

???

I wondered if I was using the right spelling, but Spell Check didn't correct me so I didn't even try "pincers".

In any event, how many of these do you plan to add to your collection?

None for me.  I try to limit myself to Frankenstein items.  I seldom stray.

Collecting everything, is too darn expensive!  And there isn't enough room for just the Frankenstein stuff.

After seeing a Rat-Bat on ebay for 300 bucks, probably none!

Nor "ebay", or dozens of other words. Not sure if there's any way to fix that?

Well since your buddy Frankenstein73 solved that problem by buying another house to store his collections, I figure that you should be able to match at least that level of dedication.

;)

Do you have the M-1 Rat-Bat-Spider as well?

Or the Gorgo?

???

I don't have the Rat Bat Spider or Gorgo, but if I ever come across a good deal on either of them, I'll pick them up.

I picked up these monster items over the course of the last month - the beginning of my monster collection! Needless to say it was an expensive month, but I did find some great deals on a lot of this stuff. You'll notice a few non-monster items in the display here, those I've picked up over the years, but the monsters are all new. I feel like I've collected a pretty solid foundation here, and it's time to slow down for awhile, replenish my funds for a few larger purchases. A couple things I'm really after would be a Mexican blow-mold creature and a Roalex sliding monster puzzle. Let me know if you have one for sale! Enjoy the photos, I can take close-ups upon request. I have a few more monster/humor comics around, a couple nice Jerry Lewis/Bob Hope monster covers and some more Archies, Jimmy Olsen monster covers etc, they're in a box somewhere, not sure I'd have a spot to display them anyway.

Welcome, new recruit!

You've had a very active first month.  You keep up that pace, and you will have to move to a house with an extra bedroom.

Nice stuff - and a good variety of fun things.

Welcome haveapotato, looks like you have a GS Frank up there. Any chance of posting a pic of him. Again welcome aboard.
