Yeah I was leary at first but then I saw one in person at Baltimore Comic Con and knew I had to have it. I just pray that it holds up over time...

Do any of you know anything about this 6.5 inch plastic cup?  When was it made and who distibuted it - a fast food chain, maybe?

If it is one in a series, I'd like to see pictures of any other cups.

That was a cup given away at General Cinema theaters back in the late 80s. I know, because that is where I obtained mine; right at the theater. I believe it was a Halloween promotional item. It also glows in the dark. I remember being very excited upon discovering this cup. I also have the display hanger for the cup.

THANKS!

I liked it the minute I saw it.  It was well worth the 99 cents price to me.

Don't believe what you hear about the current sorry state of the real estate market.  I purchased this pair of lighted haunted haciendas today at the flea market.  They look really vintage 60s/70s but are more recent (methinks 80s) and are stamped "Don Featherstone" who is the creative genius responsible for prettifying America's trailer parks by inventing the Pink Flamingo lawn ornament.  These boo-tiful bungalows measure 18x25, each with a different paint scheme, and the utility bills won't be high, as they are fully lit by a single 15 watt bulb.  To complete the look of spooky suburbia, I'd love to park a Renzi monstermobile between these plastic palaces.  Anyone have a spare???

No mortgage, no adjustable interest rate, nary a rambunctious ReMax agent in sight, just a meager 5 bucks for the pair...

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Looks like I should have waited for it to arrive in the mail before asking questions.  The cup has General Cinema and the Pepsi logo printed right on it.

It glows in the dark pretty nicely (for a short time).  It would have been fun to be in the theater where these were distibuted when the lights went out.  It would have looked like a bunch of fireflies on steroids.

My dear Gakenstein. I hope your happy with your two new homes because I just recently lost those two homes to foreclosure! Yes, those were my homes. Homes where my children and I lived. The other home is where I placed my nagging wife. You see .. I was a victim of a sub-prime mortgage scam. Now my children and I are out on the streets living in a van down by the river.

It may be a buyer's market right now .. but ... for me ..

Home? I have no home. Hunted, despised, living like an animal! The jungle is my home. But I will show the world that I can be its master! I will perfect my own race of people. A race of atomic supermen which will conquer the world! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Herr General Terry,

I am a slum landllord, yes, but I am also a human being always looking out for my brethren and you can live in either of these plastic dumps of your choosing.  Since you're in dire financial straits I will not take any rent money from you.  Instead, out of the kindness of my generous heart, I will accept a monthly monster toy from your vast and awesome pile of terror trinkets, due at the beginning of each month.  For each day you are late, you will be charged one jiggler.

"Home is where our story begins" ....sob....sniff...retch....
