Got a nice AHI Frankie this week, he's in pretty good nick considering he's been knocking around away his card and bubble.

Really nice AHI Frankenstein Chris. The paint looks to be in good shape, especially the shade of powder blue around his eyes. I love that effect. I recently picked up a second loose Frankenstein because I had Mike Rogers make me a killer box for my first one. Once I put him inside the box and saw how cool he looked I didn't want to take him back out. Just the excuse I needed to grab me a second one. ::) The one thing I learned is that you can never have to many loose monsters. As I'm sure you'll agree, he looks great in his box surrounded by his carded friends.

Hi Robert,
I love that box! I agree with loose monsters, the more the merrier. They look great with their Remco buddies there :)

I have been on a bit of a vintage Halloween kick this week, didn't have the money but thought what the hell as these were all pretty cheap! I really dig the Italian Vampire fans, should be a poster for 'Django meets Nosferatu'! ( well, if 'Django meets Nosferatu' actually exisisted as a film).

Very cool.  Vintage Halloween is always a treat to see again.

Dr.Terror

Got this last week from that furry fiend HH. ;)

I'm very, very happy to finally get one of these.  When I started collecting the only things I really set out to find (And as we all know the path always veers)   the REMCO toys since thats where most of my early monster memories come from.

This completes my REMCO collection.  Never thought I'd do it. Heck it only took 27 years to find it all.

Thanks so much HH, and to prove I am a MAD DR......I removed the shrink wrap so I could play with the insides..MUHAHAHAHA!!!
Morning, noon, or night, Anytime . . . . the count may strike. If you're caught you have to linger, Cause Dracula may bite your finger!

You truly are a mad dr... :D

Sweet Dr. Terror. I had this on my watch lit. If it wasn't for some prior purchases I would have bid on this. Being the only bidder and winning it for $199.99 I'd say you did pretty good. Everything Rob sells is top quality so you must be pretty excited. Well done!

That makeup is a very nice buy. And, a water soluble-formula is always a plus!

I've been Kong crazy this week, got a few bits and pieces. I was bidding on 2 Kong walkers and won them both – I got one as a lot ( Not sure if he is AHI as he has a black winding key, although he has the shaped feet?). The other, I'm pretty sure is an AHI by the feet and key. Neither are in super condition, but he was one of those long lost childhood toys that I wanted to pick up at some point.

The Mego plush I have had since I was a kid, he has just come back down from hiding in the attic as he was my dog's nemesis when she was a pup (she's 11 now, but man that dog holds a grudge for a long time). Strangely, when I was a kid he was my first dog's nemesis also ( must be something about bull terriers and giant apes?).

Does anybody know what the little walkers are in the top picture? I'm sure I saw somebody post an image here on the UMA of these? ( The frankie and wolfman look like they have been made from milliput or fimo)

I just won these jigglers too, the seller had the witch listed as a Ben cooper and the dracy listed as a Ben Cooper 'style' jiggler. Does anybody know what they are? The drac looks slightly different to the Ben Cooper Dracs of that style that I've seen. The 'worst jiggler in hisory  Dinosaur' I have seen before ;D

I think the Dracula is the standard sculpt, but his eyes are painted differently.  Here is my BC Drac that I've had since the early 90s.

I recently bought a BC Mummy that is a different sculpt than any I've seen before.

Cheers Ray! Perhaps some naughty kid has taken artistic liberties with his eyes. Any idea about the Witch? I have only ever seen the one Ben Cooper witch so wasn't sure about this 'un. Do you have any pics of the Ben Cooper Mummy? I love those guys.

Thanks to an incredibly generous collector who I am proud to call a friend, this Imagineering display box arrived on my doorstep as a gift filled with loads of goodies. I think you'll all agree that this person could have easily listed this on ebay and made a bundle but instead he chose to make a fellow collector very happy and for that I am humbled. I guess it's just another example of why I consider toy collectors to be some of the nicest people in the world. I hope you guys enjoy the pic. I just had to share.

My weekly finds of late have been parts for our ghostbusters proton packs.. here's a few wip images of them....

Toy Ranch

This isn't new to me, but I found it while excavating storage, lol.  I bought these from MacFrugals several years ago, the store that became Big Lots.  Never seen anything this cool there since.  I love these guys!
