Really? if you trace a line down from Drac's bow tie and medalion it looks like he was staked just slightly to the left (his left) of center. I figure that was a pretty good placement............Buddy

Well what I meant was that despite being staked Dracula still looks very much alive in that image. He certainly doesn't look stressed or upset about having a stake lodged in his chest. Either the attacker missed the vital area or this particular version of Dracula has become so powerful he's able to shrug off an attack that usually means instant death for vampires. Or maybe I'm just overanalyzing a simple piece of merchandise ;)

I won this on ebay a couple weeks ago after about two years of looking for one. "Lets Pretend" doll by Fun World.

There is at least one other doll in the series. It comes with a witch and clown costume. Hopefully it won't take another two years to track down that doll, but it probably will.

I like the Ben.Cooper/Collegeville-esque costumes. Nice find. Sorry you had to wait two years.

Just used some Christmas giftcards to pick these up! The Frankenstein Mystery Game is 100% complete and the board looks brand new! The box has a little wear on it, but the corners are all still intact! The alien game is in pretty nice shape. Board is in great condition but its missing one alien figure and an astronaut figure. The Munster book I picked up at a used book store for a few bucks.

Do you like monsters? They're my only weakness...

Monsters For Sale

I found a scarce White ABG Pencil Sharpener this week.  He's the toothy guy in the middle:

Try as I might, I was unable to take a decent picture.  All of these look whiter and nicer in person.  Unlike with the brightly colored sharpeners, Frankenstein seems to be the most common White.  I have seen several of them in eBay auctions.  The Wolf Man and Mummy pictured are the only examples I have ever encountered.

I have had the White Mummy for some time now.  Poor guy.  He has had a tough life.  Most sharpeners look brand new - Never sold or never played with.  Mummy has had his forehead creased and his eyes pierced with a needle or straight pin.  Some monsterkid must have thought he would look better with pupils. (I think it makes him look like Little Orphan Annie.)  His nose has taken some major abuse and also had the addition of pin-sized holes under the base.  Monsterkid was probably installing nostrils.

I found White WOLF MAN on eBay this last week.  I ofered the seller $50.00 if he would add a Buy-It-Now option to his auction.  He politely declined, saying he always let his auctions run their course.  His auction picture was a little dark and the sharpener a little dirty.  I bit my nails all week, hoping no one would notice that this was a White and not just a bady photographed Grey.  Even with numerous bids, I won it for $41.00, including shipping.

I was pleased.

Here is a shot of the new addition with all his brothers:

Anyone out there have a White Etta the Ghoul to sell?

awesome. I still need to find a Frank and  Mummy to complete my set. I'm not going for one of each color or anything.
It's all about the Horror.

That's how it starts.  First you have to get one of each, then it gets out of control, and you must have them all!  That's how it works!

Very cool, Adam!
