Monsters For Sale

I've had good luck using this stuff:

Goo Gone can be found in most supermarkets - sometimes with the hardware supplies and sometimes with the cleaning products.

Use very little.  Too much can damage, and you can always apply more than once.  Practice on some common items from the store to get the hang of using it.

That stuff will also take the yellow and scratches off of old Mego Blisters. Great stuff.

Takes yellowing out of blisters? Wow!

"Off" is a truer description. Goo Gone is a solvent, and you're wiping away the oxidized plastic. Think sanding or peeling rather than stripping.

So, how do I go about applying this stuff once I get some? Do i just put it right on top of the tape, or what?

Got ya, kind of like reconditioning fogged headlamp lenses at work, sanding and buffing through the fog.

Does anyone know what year this puzzle was made?

1987 - 1988, and it shipped in an equal assortment with a horizontally oriented puzzle in a purple bordered box featuring an image of Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, The Creature, and The Wolf Man in a marsh.

During the same period, American Publishing released the Stick N Lift Monsters set (not my auction) :

as well as a puzzle of Dracula in both a 300 and a 550 piece edition (again, not my auctions):

I got this awesome Zombie bowling set with hand-painted pins for Christmas along with a bunch of other monster stuff.

You are supposed to use the bomb to blow the zombie pins to smithereens while saving the victim!
