I always thought My Pet Monster was cool. They seem to do well on E-bay too. I foolishly passed on one at an auction in March. He was absolutely new with hang tags..........believe he was in a pile of stuffed critters that went for near nothing..Ya can't have it all........Buddy

Nearly twenty years ago at a toy show I passed on a couple of items I had as a kid. One was a NM Somerville Tiddledy Winks game I passed on because it was missing a couple of the winks. The other was a gaudily coloured ring toss game that was probably never used that I passed on because it didn't have all of the metal hooks. The reason of course that they survived in that kind of condition all these years is precisely because they were incomplete and probably sat in some store's back room all that time. I'm still kicking myself for turning my nose up at these two items though because they were directly from my very early years.

Well it looks like yours is the newer remake pet monster so still keep your eyes peeled. I mean who knows you may run into one again?
It's all about the Horror.

Bigger versions will be posted when they arrive.

Okay, the comics section has arrived and it contained four ads for Kooky Spookys, among many other Hasbro toys of the late 60s. The four KS ads are over in the Kooky Spookys thread:

$5 at Goodwill!

If the guy can find the other box I'm getting 20 old auroras and a box of old figures from the sixties.

All of this cost me a $1 at the yardsale. I can't wait to see what else he has!

Anyone know which Frankenstein this is? He's in near perfect condition for his age.

And that's why I hate the Goodwill store around here.  I've seen them charge $2 for items that came from a dollar store.  The shelves often have broken or incomplete stuff.  Whoever runs it has no idea what they're doing.  The only deals we ever find is on clothes...sometimes.

It's hit or miss as well here, this one also had the headpiece and the gun which didn't come with the helmet originally. For every ten times you go to a different Goodwill around here you find one thing.

I WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CONFUSED BY THIS COOL ARTWORK  discovered by radioactive Redneck.

It looks so evocative of the 60's - 70's yet it bore a striking resemblance to something that didn't exist until 18 months ago!

Very impressed that it's a new piece of art  masterfully inked to look old!

Radioactive Rod Whitenack

Does this mean I have to change my name to Radioactive Redneck?
