Wow. Those look like wonderfully cheesy versions of Bob Massey art. Maybe they ARE Bob Massey art (can't tell from "this far away").
Nope--Paul Detlefsen, from '67

1967? Way cool. One of the few pieces I still have from back then is this poster.

Unknown Primate

I have that Sasquatch Jack Links box, too - but not the cool foot that goes along with it!

I love the Bay Area. Last weekend, my husband and I returned there for a quick trip, hanging out with friends and seeing "Avengers" twice! We visited a bunch of cool shops, including local CD/DVD legend Rasputin's, where I got DVDs of "Brotherhood of the Wolf" and "Zardoz" for a total of ten bucks, and several comic shops. In one of these shops, Crush Comics, I was able to finally obtain two items I've been searching for: Eaglemoss lead figures of Thor and Hulk. I am an Avengers fanatic and I have a whole shelf of Eaglemoss figures, but those two were quite apparent in their absence. The shop was offering them at retail price -much less than the eBay auctions I'd seen. Now they are proudly lined up with their fellow assemblers.

Now I just need to find the Black Panther....

Here are a few of my finds from the week.
Just picked this bigfoot jerky display up today! It had two sticks left inside, so i asked the cashier if I bought them both could I have the display? he gave me a funny look and said "Um, sure?"

here it is with the box out, i think its Rad!

picked up all these for .10 cents a piece at the thrift connection!
FREAKIES!!!

I had the freakies a kid but lost them, been wanting them so bad but couldnt pull the trigger at the prices they demand. patience pays off. now if i can find the two im missing and the magnets, oh and the boats. got the cars.
then these were also .10 cents a piece. they are called Mixed up Zoo animals. or MUZO's, i know i had 1 or 2 floating around in my bottomless toybox as a kid.
chicow, ostriphant , and catlizard? dont remember the names. there are 12 known to exist in the series.

oh and the Hank Snow record they are on was one of the 30+ records I bought this week also.

"bottomless toybox"... lol .. I had one of those.. actually, someone on here posted some pics recently of some tiny little " boxing " men, like made out of metal.. I had those in my toybox, along with the old skool Fisher Price people, the wooden ones, pez dispensers and checkers and marbles.. Even then , I had a thing for grouping things together and putting them in jars. I remember doing that as a kid, all the time.  Some things never change

Oh and I love the display.. its more than Rad. its awesome.
and wouldnt you know it.. I have THAT hank snow record !!!

This weekend was the annual high school band garage sale in my little town......I was there in line with the earlybirds when the door opened. I never expect much, but always come away with alittle something. This item was odd. Skull is pretty good size. When you pull the bone-handle he opens his mouth, sticks out his tongue and says, "BUUURP....HAHAHAHAHA, EXCUSE ME!. When I opened his head trap-door there was a multi-colored mess. First thought was extreme battery rust. After closer exam it turned out to be crushed M&Ms......the door that releases them down his tongue also crushes some M&Ms when it closes. A gooey mess, but cleaned up fine.   Buddy

Here's the rest of my band garage sale finds......... My Pet Monster (only knocked down two kids to get at it. Pretended I didn't see em. It's along way down there ya know!)..........A furry monster glove (perfect fit on the end of my Tiger Joe Tank)..........and a Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine in the box ( wouldn't have gotten this if it wasn't untouched contents)...........No Marx mechanical Yeti or Haunted House, not even a Kooky Spooky Tree! Aw well, maybe next year........Buddy

I sold my original my pet monsters years ago. I kinda miss them but it seemed the feet and hands were starting to fall apart and i got some ok money out of them. I do miss them though.
