Mirabile dictu,don't you agree?

Monsters For Sale

I think that if I had only the 2 monsters, I would be tempted to put them in the sports car.

Too bad it they are not Frank & Bride - although her hair wouldn't fare too well in a convertible.

Monolith

These are embroidered monster patches I got recently. There are two more that I don't have, there's an Oliver Reed Werewolf and a Frankenstein.

Those patches are very striking Monolith. The purple Creature is almost hypnotic. Where did you get them?
ALWAYS MONSTERING...

Unknown Primate

Dig those patches!  They'd look great on my monster jacket (in progress).

I got mine at a local clothing store that also sells some belt buckles ,buttons and toys, but if you search e-bay you can usually find them for about six bucks each.

U.P. -- I might have to sew them on my jacket, too.

I bought 3 of these, but haven't had the heart to assemble one. I remember this very display in the gift shop at a gift shop in central Florida in about 1970-72. I bought a purple Mummy for like 10c. He reminded me of my grandpa, who very much resembled a heavier Boris Karloff.

Monster Bob where do did you find your displays? I would like to track one down some day. I don't even have any sharpeners.LOL!

I assume I got them from the same guy everyone else got them from on ebay, but I don't remember his name or ID. A friend who is a picker in the Midwest had hundreds of the sharpeners when this stuff surfaced-I think it was about 8-10 years ago, and I also assume he got them from the same guy with the displays, again many many years ago. My friend never had any of the displays. I have long since sold out of the sharpeners. Nobody really cared about them back them- and I was selling them cheap!

Dang! Seems like I miss the boat a lot. I actually only discovered these recently. :(

I've been BUSY completely reorganizing my monster collection, and I also bought a new digital camera. I found lots of things stored away that I had forgotten I owned, and some I don't even remember buying! One of the little monsters I found at the bottom of a box was this five headed serpent with bendy necks. I know I had it as a kid, so it's probably a relic of the early to mid 1970's. It doesn't have any markings on it except for Made in Hong Kong. Anybody recognize this beasty or know anything about its origins?

Horror101,

I love when that happens! You see something and it jars a memory you didn't even know was still lurking around in your dusty brain. I hope somebody on here can tell us anything about it.

Found all of this today for under $10 at our local flea. If anyone has the parts I'm missing for my Remco Frankie, let me know.
