Great stuff, Buddy - I think that is a BIGFOOT from a Bigfoot board game?  Whatever it is, it's awesome!

Yes it is. I still have that game. Love it!

I just got this Circa 1970 "Josette's Music Box", from the Dark Shadows TV series.  In decent shape, and plays well.
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

I love that. I have never seen one before, but now I know what to look for.

Now this is interesting. Here are the original pictures from Ebay of the above display that Bigbud bought:

But the cardboard display looked so white and bright from the pictures on Ebay that many of us wondered whether the display was counterfeit. As it turned out, the only tampering that was done was with the image posted on Ebay. The seller evidently adjusted the brightness/contrast so that the display looked newer and brighter than it actually was.

Electronic image altering is so easy for shysters these days that buyers must be more careful than ever buying goods sight unseen.

h.h.- I can hear that beautiful music playing in my head. Wow - that music box is lovely! What a sweet weekly find  :)
frank73- That car full of hooligans looks like they may be trouble! I sure hope they don't start something they can't finish- when you get your Monster Car! You really have an outstanding collection. I love that Capt. Kidd- he looks like the Ringleader of the gang!

I think the brightness/shine is a result of using a flash.

I own one of these displays that I have never unfolded.  It is very bright and white.  But when you have it in hand, you can see that it is OBVIOUSLY and original, factory produced item.  The material, printing quality and precision stamp/cutting bespeaks a large production number in a factory set up for making such items.

You really need to see one in person to get the overall effect.

Monster Bob

I bought 3 of these, but haven't had the heart to assemble one. I remember this very display in the gift shop at a gift shop in central Florida in about 1970-72. I bought a purple Mummy for like 10c. He reminded me of my grandpa, who very much resembled a heavier Boris Karloff.

That's my problem - The darn thing is just too pretty to unfold.

I need to get a 2nd one to put my sharpeners in.

I'm not seein' much to be lost in assembling it. With the sharpeners all tucked in their slots this is a knock-out. "You really need to see one (assembled) in person to get the overall effect."--- Words from a wise man...........Buddy

Jeff! Unless I'm mistaken....that IS the Renzi monstermobile in aqua blue! I didn't know such existed! Amazing! Are there slots or holes in the seats that monster passengers would pop into? What did the seller call this car when you bought it?   Buddy

Hi buddy! Well MFS found the auction I won.  ten bucks each after shipping! This car is exactly  like the monster car but is in light blue. It is marked aj renzi  1964 patent pending on the bottom. But the floor area is cut out so the figures legs can slide in and they can sit in it. Much like a barbie style renzi car. And  I had bid on the pink set of monsters to put with it but my bid was too low. I knew I should have bid more but I was severely low on funds due to buying too much already that week.  :-[  so I really don't know what this car is? Pre monster car, variation, or after monster car? But it is a HOTROD and 8" monsters can sit in it!! And the price was sweet!
