I got this at a flea market. It's a Dakin Snagglepuss from 1971. I've got a bunch of other Dakin figures but this one is a really hard one to find. The other really hard one to get is Hokey Wolf.

Tag and all! I'm impressed. Good luck on finding Hokey Wolf.

the snaggle puss is a tough one to find, and to get one at a flea market is like a gift. Besides hokey wolf, puss and underdog can also be hard to track down.

seed_murda - Great score on the H2O for that aquarium!  Is it wetter than most?

jim m - That Snagglepuss is cool - groovy even!  Exit, stage right!

Hey....I just got back from some antique shops......I passed on a figure very similar to Snagglepuss. His pose and angle of his feet were the same. He was a Warner Bros. figure of a mouse that was dressed and in a W C Fields attitude. Any idea what character that was. Had real cloth jacket with high-collar white shirt on.  Buddy

That was Merlin the magic mouse. He's one of the more common Dakin figures. He's pretty cool, though.

Thanks for all the Snaggle-comments. I was very happy and lucky to find him. Now I'm off to look for Hokey Wolf.

Seed_murda--- that's a nice lookin' aquarium. Is that a resin casting of the Penn Plax Creature? Twenty bucks is a good price for one of those.

I had the big Spidey bank and the Hulk Bucket.    In fact other than megos, I had tons of 70's Marvel this and thats.   70's was a great decade for marvel stuff.   Pens to Rollerskates.     Never got my Hulk muscles though.     Spidey weighed about 100lbs before I was finally able to cut the plug, lol.

Does anyone recall the Popsicle-maker set? Really just molds of Hulk, Spidey, and Cap that you could pour kool-aid into and freeze? Somehow the super-heroes made them taste better than regular popsicles!

Well went to a indoor flea market and got this guy for $50 great shape except his voice no longer works.

It's all about the Horror.

Thanks, it's a 75 gallon. Another bad cell pic. The water is actually crystal clear. Didn't exactly show the rest of the aquarium. It appears to be some kind of colorized rubber that was hand painted with aquarium safe paints. I made sure and asked the guy who made them before I put it in. The green and grey base are rubber/solid colors where the eyes and other minor details were hand painted on.   They were replicas/molds of the originals. If it is resin it doesnt appear to have the same feel as my monster bike buddy. I am no expert on resins. Either way it was def worth the cash. I have always wanted a creature lurking in the tank.

Monolith

It looks great, every tank should have a Creature in it.

Horor1o1  - nice Herman Munster!

Moonshadow -- I used to have the Marvel superheroes popsicle molds, I don't have them any more, though. It's been a long time since I've seen those.
