I remember having a suprising amount of Beanie and Cecil licensed product as a kid. A talking Cecil puppet, Colorforms, the Jumping Dishonest John Game, and the incredibly desirable Beanie-copter!

I'm a big fan of Beany & Cecil too!

No, Beany doesn't talk any more. Don't see how you could get at the talk box without un-stiching Beany. I like him just like he is. And as I said, I'm facinated with the box art.   Buddy

Super fantastic finds, everybody! And once again...I learned something from these posts. I always thought I had Liddle Kiddles when I was a kid- but now I don't think that the dolls I was referring to as L.Ks were L.Ks at all! The miniature dolls that I had were scented and had flower names like Lily of the Valley or Rose- I think. But they looked a lot like the Kiddles. Oh well....now I'll have to go back and re-tell all my stories  :)  But I did love those little dolls!

There were quite a few Liddle Kiddles made over the years. It's possible the dolls you remember were these:

Do you know whether Hasbro issued those drawing sets for other characters in addition to Popeye?

ramsey37- You are so right! The "Kologne Dolls" are the ones I had! I saw the Lily of the Valley and I forgot I had Violet, too. I had all but forgotten about those little dolls. They were so fun because they were portable and you could brush their hair. And for some reason, kids love to brush doll hair- teehee- but do not like to groom themselves!
Wow! I also had forgotten about those nifty cologne bottles. I must have tossed mine aside because I always carried my dolls around in my pockets.

Carp, at this auction where I got the Kozmic Kiddle they also auctioned off Kola Kiddles: small doll Kiddles in a soda pop shaped bottle and cologne Kiddles; Kiddles in a cologne shaped bottle. I maybe should have bid, they were on the card (kola) and in cardboard retainers (the colognes). Guess I was too stunned to have won the Kozmic which came up for auction first of the Kiddles.  Buddy

I think a garage sale 10-15 years ago for 10 cents. I believe he's from the late 70's early 80's. They made a bank very similar as well.

Hey, I had a HULK exactly like that, but it was a bank!
