Hey everyone! Just filled out another corner of my monster room with some Halloween store finds...

Then had a bit of a basement find! I was reorganizing some props and cotumes in the "halloween department" of my basement and found this guy...

I picked him up quite a few years back now when I needed it for a college film project. I built a whole creature suite and this was the head. I ordered it online to save some time and money and when it got here it looked NOTHING like the picture online! I was TERRIBLE! So I did some stitching on the fins to get them to stand up properly and repainted the whole thing to make the rest of the costume and not look like a big muddy mess! Ended up almost taking as long as if I had just made the damn thing myself! I was pretty happy with the results though, and now it has a spot in the 'ol Monster Cave!

A good orthodontist might be able to help out a little with that overbite.

Finally, these three books cost one dollar, 75 and 25 cents a piece:

Can't go wrong with the Three Investigators.  I miss being a kid.

I was just a bit too old for them when they first started publishing The Three Investigators, but I've been enjoying collecting - and reading - them in recent years.

I was grocery shopping with the missus tonight and noticed a bin of DVDs and started rummaging through it and found the AIP double feature Viking Women and the Sea Serpent and Teenage Caveman for a whole $2.50!!This grocery store in town is pretty hip-over the past 5 years I've gotten probably 10 classic monster/horror DVDs for under 5 bucks from them.
Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!
