Here are the horror figures I got at a garage sale....this is mainly what I like to collect. Got everything pictured for $65!

And I thought I'd done well with my finds. That is the bargain of the century. There's at least $500 worth of swag there! The Alien queen boxed set alone goes for $100+ every time on ebay!  :o

I got these at a car boot sale yesterday. The Aurora kit was £7 and the comics £2....

Not monster related, but every summer we go to Maine, and just about every year I find something that's a pain to get home. Luckily we brought two cars this year.

The seller had a bunch of original loose StarWars vehicles which where shockingly overpriced so I couldn't believe I got it so cheap! Made my weekend!

That Mummy print was done by an artist named Martin Ansin, he is one of my all time favorite artists. This is his website with some of his other work...

His Bride of Frankenstein piece is one of my all time favorite pieces of art.
Do you like monsters? They're my only weakness...

Damn! That must have been one hell of a garage sale! All I ever see when I drive by garage sales are old, dirty toaster ovens and lamps with crooked shades!

Hahaha yeah my husband and I usually do drive bys when going to garage sales....usually just have a bunch of junk like you said. This guy was a huge horror collector and had WAY more stuff than this....the other stuff was just stuff I wouldn't collect (lord of the rings, spawn, etc). He told me he had more stuff in the house he was going to put out the next day so I came back the next day and he hadn't added ANYTHING- I think he didn't want to get rid of anything, but the wife was making him LOL. One and only time I've found horror stuff at a garage sale aside from that lunch box I got as well which was the same day. Just got lucky for once to make up for all the crappy yard sales I've been to HAHA!

Nice sign MDG- I love old retro stuff like that....Where are you gonna hang that?

This is not monster-related either, but yesterday I found 5 complete Sunday Comics sections from the Boston Globe, 5 different dates all from 1962, for a buck each!

As we all know, the comics have shrunk drastically since 1962. Today's section has 25 comics jammed onto 4 pages (roughly 6 to a page). 1962's section has 24 comics spread over 10 pages, typically 3 to a page. 1962's section includes Lil Abner, Dennis the Menace, Apt 3-G, Rex Morgan MD, Mutt & Jeff, Cicero's Cat, Penny, The Berrys, The Smith Family, Tales From the Great Book, Uncle Nugent's Funland, Yogi Bear, There Oughtta Be A Law, The Strange World of Mr. Mum (love this!), Our New Age, The Captain and the Kids, Miss Peach, Steve Roper, Judge Parker, Mary Worth, Short Ribs, Kerry Drake, Mary Perkins On Stage, and Off the Record. Here's a size comparison:

My other find of the week was this Green Hornet record on the Coronet label. I had it as a kid, recall the music's pretty lousy, but the cover is nice:

No idea what this is.Found it today at a thrift store. The Godzilla reflective sticker on it means it's clearly mass produced but I haven't been able to match it on Google Images. It's hollow porcelain, hole in the head (with cork) and open mouth into the hollow body. No markings beside the sticker.

Don't know what it is, but I was pretty happy to find him!!

Now if I can only find a place to hang 'em...
