Very cute, now THAT is a classic monster piece!

Toy Ranch

Very cool, Terry!

I got a baby in the mail today, from Andy's brother :D

I like that the Creature has breasts.  Your son is on his way to becoming a man.

My son Dominick surprised me with a very special gift this week. It is a clay sculpture that he made of the Creature from the Black Lagoon. He made me very proud and very happy. Perhaps one day he will become the next Randy Bowen? You never know. This clay Creech will get star billing in my Creature case for a long, long, time.

He's cute.  I want to see one of these in person.

I picked up some Monster Paperback Books

And finally snagged the elusive Creature/Wolf Man wallet so that now I have all of the monsters on wallets.

Gasport

WOW!! Those paperbacks and wallets are some of my all time favorite classic monster items...I have only one complete Frankenstein/Dracula wallet which i bought from Dan Roebuck after an ebay auction where no one met the minimum bid. I had the Franky/ Phantom as a kid and still remember the thrill of seeing that envelope from Captain Company sitting on the kitchen table when i got home from school. The smell of that new vinyl still lingers. Thanks for sharing! Here's another of my favorite monster toys from Captain Co. ;

It's great seeing those wallets together in a row.

Roback

Hey guys, do those wallets come loose or were they sold in some type of packaging?
Robert Acquarulo

Toy Ranch

Love the Horrorscope, Gasport!

Rob, I've only ever seen them loose, never in a package.  Probably a counter box or something.  Seems like I may have seen one of those a long time ago, or part of one.

WOW, great line-up of wallets, Bobby!

Josh

Those wallets look great Bobby, I've never seen a whole set together.  Also, I really love the paperbacks, I collect paperbacks from that era and have always loved those.

I picked up some Monster Paperback Books

That last book in this pic, of Dracula, does it say who the illustrator is? Is it comic book format or just heavily illustrated?

Mike

Meek

Say, is this like the black & white comic book version that showed up in a 1960's issue of "Famous Monters" of the Hammer "Dracula" with Christopher Lee & Peter Cushing?

   "Meek"(an inquiring mind)
"I am like a Unicorn in a racing stable. Beast doesn't fit."   T.E.Lawrence

Toy Ranch

Yes, it is the comic book.  It's a Russ Jones publication with illustrations by Alden "Al" McWilliams and text by Otto Binder and Craig Tennis.  There is an introduction by Chris Lee.  It's done so that you read it sideways.  It opens like a calendar with the spine in the middle and the whole page is one set of panels.  Copyright is 1966.

Probably a counter box or something.

This is the top part of the wallets counter box that Terry owns.
