My favorite MAD magazine paper 45 that I have is a song called "It's A Gas" which has the singer burping on it.
Oh, and as you can see from looking at the back of that SURFINK album there are two more Mr. Gasser records out there, but I wouldn't expect to find them for a dollar-they are all very rare and usually expensive if you can find them.

I remember that Mad 45 from the magazine. Us kids thought it was hilarious.

Illoman

If memory serves sometime in the past ten years or so Mad put a cd with It's A Gas on it in an issue of their magazine. I know I've got it somewhere downstairs. It was my first exposure to it, and me and my kids thought it was hilarious!

Hepcat

I remember it too. It was in one of the Mad special issues. "Alfred E. Neuman vocalizes!" was the cover blurb.

;D
Collecting! It's what I do!

Therin---I love that first Lolly Gobble Bliss Bombs commercial with the guy hanging from the chains.

Illoman

Here's the one I've got:

It's got "It's A Gas", "Barely Alive", and a cover of the Mad tune "Blind Date" by Green Jelly. Plus some AOL crap I never bothered with.

It's the Surfink one that I don't have though.

Now those are rad!

MarsAttacks666, Those are super! Never seen them before! I'd have those framed and on my wall!  Buddy

Monolith

Those records are Hepcat's. All three of the Mr. Gasser and the Weirdos records are very hard to find today and usually very expensive.

bigbud

That Hepcat! He's got too much great stuff.......time to annex Canada!   Buddy

Heres some garage sale stuff i got recently. the mask, orange halloween blowmold, telco dracula, the vintage halloween paper skeleton, and this blow mold frankenstein head. anybody know what its off of, looks like it mounted to something?

at the same garage sale i got these two 6' tall animated pieces the open one who lifts his head off,she said she only used one season and the butler is still sealed in the box,she never opened him. i paid $25 a piece for them!

and today i recieved this in the mail its the remco monster case with frank, drac, and wolfman, already had the creetch. all for $26 in excellent condition complete, and had the instruction sheet still!

The Frankenstein head originally came with a matching set of hands, plus plastic stakes to mount them all, allowing him to burst through your lawn. If left out for 5 or 6 years, be aware, that the cumulative  sun damage will cause him to crumble to pieces when removed. Actually, I think the head may have survived, but the (very nicely sclpted and pretty much life-size) hands were beyond help.

Charp13---Very nice Garbage Pail Kids pins. I have a few of those, too, along with the stickers and the little plastic figures that came inside a
                 garbage can and trash bag.

Well I went garage saleing this weekend again and filled up my van! Man Ive been hitting the jackpot, I found all this at one garage sale! It was at a sale with quite a bit of antique furnature, he was an antique collector. Didnt see any toys so I started talking to him and come to find out he was a retired UPRR engineer Like me, well except im not retired. He started showing me some of his other things in his shop, I asked if he had any old toys. he said he had about four boxes full (He bought from a lady many years ago that were her sons) buried in his shop behind some old dressers and hed be happy to sell them sometime. Well I managed to persuade him to dig them out, I helped. As I was going through them I was pretty exited, he said hed sell them to me for $100. Needless to say I bought them, and I got an old Elvgren pinup print from the old garage calanders that was in an antique frame from him for $25 Id show you a pic but its a bit risque (one of his nude paintings). Enjoy!
and If there is anything you might be interested in send me a PM. (im running out of room fast!) heres some of the stuff I bought, Im still going through another box.
heres a bunch of vintage games and pennants.

these travel guides and disney book are from 1965

Heres a EMENEE Powermeg portable microphone, A tom thumb cash register still in the box, slot machine, wind up boat, change bank, Rocky and Bullwinkle coloring book. and the Animal puppet which i got from a different sale for a buck!

Heres an MPC army set and a bunch of other army men.

Some marx gas station stuff and farm figures, cowboys and indians etc... some are rubber and there are some hard plastic ones too.

But most important find in the lot to mee were these marx monsters and Nutty mads to add to my already ridiculously large collection! and a little ping pong ball shooter made of rubber.

And my Buy of the week is this Crossbows and Catapults game for a Buck! I had one of these as a kid and loved it. I have been looking for one forever but refused to pay the price they bring on ebay. i knew id find one!

Ill post some more pics as i go through the rest.
Mirabile dictu,don't you agree?
