Impossibles get framed by Therin of Andor, on Flickr

Just back from Mr Kim, the framer! Three Patrick Owsley sketches of "The Impossibles" (from the Hanna-Barbera series, "Frankenstein Jr. and The Impossibles") and a Spanish gum card! I saw the set of three paintings on eBay - cartoonist Patrick Owsley has an online store - just a few days after my gum card of Los Imposibles" (sic) arrived from a different "Buy it now" auction.

Ahhhh.....there's no better feeling than getting something professionally framed   :)   They are beautiful, Therin! Where are you going to display them?  I'll have to check the site out and look at his work, thanks for sharing your outstanding find!

I love Patrick Owsley's work. He did the cover art for dozens of dollar store cartoon DVDs that I have. I think he has a great 60's Hanna Barbera vibe to his work, which I love.
Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!

Therin, I really enjoyed your blog!  You have a glorious collection and I couldn't control my involuntary dance movements during the Impossibles clip!  It's really cool to see different collections (shrines) on this site    :)   Thanks for sharing yours!    I have a Piglet collection that has turned into a frightening pink shrine that my poor husband puts up with.   :)

Great score Therin.  I loved the Impossibles growing up, especially Multi-Man.

Fluid Man was my fave, and I've put some thought into what a "reunion tour" movie might be like, and how the members of The Impossibles (both as bandmembers and superheroes) might have fared over the decades.

Yes imagine the shock some people will experience when they learn the  Impossibles band, was the secret identity of the Impossible super heroes.  Those costumes they wore did such an amazing job hiding their secret identities! :P
