Great work Bogey!  I teach K-12 art and I can relate to your project.  Most of the kids in my classes haven't seen a Universal film and have only a limited knowledge of the monsters.  They know Jason, Freddy, Michael and Scream, but not much else.  What a great way to introduce them to the classics.

How cool! Love Dracula's Daughter!
Poe! You are Avenged!

Very cool from a fellow teacher Bogey! I have taught Elementary School Physical Education for the past 14 years (my first 7 Special Ed PE, the last 7 General Ed PE) and I love working with my kids.

My school does not officially celebrate Halloween, instead we have "Harvest Festivals". Anyway, I have a pumpkin playground ball that I display in my Gym and have an activity called Halloween Aerobics using the ball. The kids love it. It stays in my office on one of my shelves year round for a quick fix.

Very cool artwork from your students! Thanks for sharing!

Tell the kids that they did a great job on those monsters.  I'm curious; How familiar with the monsters were they before the project?

Thanks for all the comments.  It was an absolute blast.  As far as familiarity, it was so-so.  Frankie and the biggies were recognizable to some, but The Phantom, Creature and such were brand new to most.  Dracula's Daughter was totally out of left field.  However, our school library had some of these:

and my kiddos snatched them up as soon as I pointed them out.  The handful we had at our school stayed checked out all year.  I will try to let them know you folks enjoyed these when they visit from time to time, as they are off to Middle School.  But many of my former students visit.

Unknown Primate

Those are REALLY cool!  They did a great job!

Love Crestwood House! I have the Raven & cherish it.
Poe! You are Avenged!

Hey Bogey, I wish I had a teacher like you in grade school. Awesome work with the kids.

These are fantastic!  What a creative undertaking!  You are trully engaging your students --  while also passing the UniMonster torch to a whole new generation.  Kudos!  You are a credit to this Army and to your profession.

Man!  That is a range and a half!  Do not know how you do it, but coolness on your part!
