Vintage Monster stuff is very very rare!! i walked for 5 days straight  from 5 am to 2pm at the Brimfield, Ma. Antique Show which is one of the largest gatherings of stuff in the whole us of a and did not turn up ONE vintage monster toy. I did get a near mint unused Creeple Peeple set but that was the lone item... It's no wonder collectors are paying crazy prices for 60's monster toys... Try to find some!!!

Truth.

Even back in 2001 and 2002 when I went to Monster Bash the only significant Monster TOYS I found were all four MPC Pop-Top Horrors 2-packs (unopened)...and I bought 'em on the spot! There were quite a few vintage monster mags, but no toys aside from those Pop-Tops. At local antique malls I used to see an occasional Nutty Mad years ago, but even those have been bought up. evilBay is about the ONLY source I have for vintage monster toys. When I want to look at '60s monster stuff I have to look at my collection. I don't know of any other place I can see it in person. That's one reason I love UMA, I can get on here and see things I don't even have- actual grail items. It may not be in person but it's still damn cool.
ALWAYS MONSTERING...

MONSTER MASH

Attended my first HorrorHound Convention in Indy this weekend and thanks to fellow board member Apesman, it was a great trip.

Thanks again Apesman, for helping out a fellow board member!

I also picked up some Neca bobbleheads, and a great TrickorTreat Studios Halloween Silver Shamrock Skull Mask!!!

Glad I made the drive!

Mord

How much were the Neca bobbleheads going for there?

Moe

I found one guy who was selling B&W The Mummy's Tomb for $18.  Unopened.

The rest of the prices varied.    Creature and Dracula I think were both over $150 and the Werewolf and Frankenstein were priced at $50.

Mord

Those have really gone up fast. The production run was smaller on the Dracula since it was the only one that was not re-released with series two. I haven't seen a Phantom in a while, either.

Give the regular weekday Store Manager these numbers and ask him if he can order you one from their supplier.

That's all the information there is on these things.  The backs of the tags are blank and the heads themselves are unmarked.

I believe Albertsons owns Jewel Osco stores in the Midwest.  I'll have to check those out!
