Went hunting at a Halloween Express today that was still emptying inventory, but came up with nothing. Lotsa stuff, but nothing grabbed me.

it's getting harder and harder for me to find any modern halloween stuff that grabbs me. When I go Halloween shopping these days it involves antique stores and thrift stores.
It's all about the Horror.

Agreed, but we found a cool skull candelabra that I'm hoping to find a mate for...........but no luck. Agreed on the vintage goodies though. Nothing else compares.

Monsters For Sale

Aaww Geeze, Bobby.  I love those things.  And the Creature Squirt Gun makes the most sense.  I mean, who eles of all the mosters is more likely to have a mouth full of water?

I almost got a nice Frankenstein AHI Squirt Gun for a very decent price, but my computer froze up just at the second I was placing my bid - and it went for considerably less than my bid.  And it was less than a full bid increment over the next highest bid, so I know I would have won.

I know there are Frank and Creach Squirters.  Are there any other Universal Classic Monster Squirt Guns?

Oh, yeah - KONG!  I forgot about him.

I like the original POTA, but I don't think of them as Classic Monsters.  To me, they are belong to the neo-science fiction era (after the classic 50's sci-fi movies).

Well, I'd never repost a photo in a reply unless for effect...

WHAT??? Where didja, how tha, whoa. I'm still looking for one that I can afford (and working to be able to afford one that I find) 35 years later. Tell the story of how you hook this one, por favor! Huge congratulations, btw.

I'd love to say this was in a yard sale for a buck and I talked them down to 50ยข, but actually I paid a pretty penny for it, and more than a few dollars as well. Crack free and the paint is very near perfect, along with being the rarer yellow trigger version, if it's not the best one out there, it is not exceeded by any in condition.  It was a private party sale, and there is no cool story to go with that, just a very cool toy.

Congratulations, Bobby.  That is a great one.

Cool Telco Frankenstein's Monster

Cool Creature Toy Ranch! It does have a nice charm to it.

Better than using a darn donkey at a monsterkid's party!

The body graphic looks like something European-made.  Did it come from a non-U.S.-based toy company?  It reminds me of Scandanavian poster art.

Very cool - and unusual.
