It really is a thing of beauty, ray. And you have done a wonderful job photographing the Mummy. I love the black background and the muted background photos! Congratulations to Jason for the perfect hunt, and congratulations to you for owning a magnificent pice of art/history. You could make a calendar out of those images- they are that beautiful! (I'd buy one)   :)

Have you plugged it in yet? We need a video of the Mummy in action!
George

Yes, I plugged it in one time to see it work. The arms move up and down and the head moves left and right. It makes a laughing sound. The action is not that spectacular and the sound is not that loud, so a video might be anticlimactic.

Thanks so much for giving us a nice, clear close-up look.  He looks brand new.  I don't see a scratch anywhere.

So nice that he has found a home that appreciates his true value - both monetarily and as a rare collectible.

I'm really happy for you.

Ray. The Telco Mummy is truly an outstanding piece. What an amazing likeness of
Boris Karloff. Great aquisition.

The detail is amazing and I am seeing this for the first time ever!  Must be a rare piece indeed.  Looks like you guys made a wonderful trade.

I'm very happy to have helped you out.  It saved me trying to find the other big Uni Telcos. ;)

LOL  Man, how many collections started because someone gave me one or two pieces from a particular line as a gift...then the "Collector Mentality" kicks in and you have to go out and get the rest!!!

zombiehorror

Great piece!!  Cool enough to have a battery op. version but the larger version, that is just amazing!

Oh, I understand. I've got the Creature, and have passed on all the others save the Mummy over time because, if I'm going beyond the Creature on these, I want them all, and, well... the odds aren't good.

I've been trying to do better.  And have also been going through and slowly starting to downsize the collection.  (It amazes me how much stuff I thought I had to have that, a few years older and wiser, I realize I don't really want as much as I thought.  Or maybe it's more a matter of what do I want the most, coupled with the desire to have enough space to showcase the more important bits.)  I mentioned elsewhere that I had hopes of displaying the Little Big Heads with their 8" Sideshow counterparts, but since each line gradually went off in different directions with figures unique to each, I've decided to let the Little Big Heads go.  And there are far more models than I have time or shelf space to build and display, so those are getting weeded out as well.
