Don't know if we have any ROBOTECH fans here, but saw something that might be of interest during a quick run into Walmart last night.  The three multi-disc sets from A&E were available for under $10 each.  These tend to run $20-30 for each set, so for old school anime' fans this is a decent deal.  I know it's not to everyone's tastes, but just in case....

I remember the name of the show, but I'm not familiar with the characters. I will definitely check my walmart because my grandson is really into that genre. We just ordered 3 movies from Amazon for him- Oblivion Island, Summer Wars and some other G rated anime. He has a lot of the other 8 year old appropriate dvds- Spirited Away, Ponyo, Tortoro, Nausicaa (not sure of the spelling) and a few more. But now he's getting into the more complex movies, and I have a feeling I won't know what's going on when I watch them  :)

Some anime' I like, some I don't.  I liked COWBOY BEBOP (both the TV series and the feature film), the original GHOST IN THE SHELL feature, ROBOTECH and ARMITAGE III (both the original mini-series and the feature cut from it, as well as the follow-up feature).  And the two VAMPIRE HUNTER D films are fun when I'm in the right mood.
