Wow, that's amazing.  How much did that sell for?

The numbers all run together but it seems like it was $700 or so.

Wow, that's amazing.

That is amazing. I never knew there were Franky light heads made with bases. Or do all of these light heads come with bases? And are these made by Clint (or Clinton) Toys as well?

First one I've seen, and I got outbid, so....  dunno.  Maybe someone here has more info...

Monsters For Sale

This stupid hunk of plastic sold for $635 dollars.

It would have gone for roughly half that, but some darn UMA member decided to bid against me.  Grrrrrr.

It leans to one side because the warm plastic sagged at the jaw-line.  It probably should have stayed in the mold a little longer or been gently supported while it cooled.  The base and the head are all one piece.

Still, it is the only example I have ever seen.

The top of the head has a circular smooth area in the middle for the cut-out to convert this to a bucket/speaker box.  The area outlined is the same size as the speaker.

Before the Clinton Plastics heads came up in this topic, I had planned to  start a new thread about highly unsual items in our collections.  Since this was brought up before I took these pictures yesterday, I'll ask my question here:

Does anyone else out there have one of these?

Wow Adam! Those are some fantastic pics of a rarely seen monster collectible! Thanks for sharing those! They must go into our Gallery for posterity sakes! Hope you won't mind?

$635.00 huh? Wow. Actually, I think I would have gladly paid that price had I been aware of the auction and wasn't married.  ;D

I should have bid more  >:(

Hey!  You cost me an additional $300+.

You have too much of the good junk already, anyway

How did you weather the storm?  I hope you kept all those expensive collectibles dry.

Do whatever you want with them.  I was hoping to take some better pictures, without all the glare.

I have no wife. no dependents and very little sense - so I took the plunge on an item I thought was a rarity.

Does anyone else have one of these?  Have any of you seen many of these over the years?

We must have been separated at birth.

That is one fantastic toy.  Thanks for posting the big, clear pictures!

I think I'm tapped out for the rest of the Halloween season.  Unless one of my "grails" shows up, I'll let y'all fight over the rest of the cool stuff.

Do EBay sellers visit the UMA, find out which items people yearn for, and price them accordingly? Or is it just coincidence that a Halloween bucket turned up overnight?

Hmmm. That is interesting. I'm sure there are several folks who have used this group in the past as a barometer for peddling goods. That's a nice looking candy bucket BTW. And I'm afraid the asking price may indicate that the seller has been doing his/her homework somewhere along the line. Probably right here at this group?

Hmmmmmmmmm! I'd really like to pounce on this! REALLY WOULD!
Except, bad timing, coz I pounced on something else and spent the funds.
