I am interested in the Halloween II & III Blu-rays, but I do not want to pay over $20 for them. I am waiting for price drops.

Soon the DVD/Bluray will be used.

SPECIAL OFFER: Those who order LIFEFORCE from us directly ScreamFactoryDVD.com will receive an exclusive 18"x24" poster featuring the newly commissioned artwork. Only 300 posters will be printed, so these are available while supplies last.

Someone asked on Facebook why Vampire Lovers wasn't getting the dvd treatment and Scream Factory stated, "Vampire Lovers had already been released before on DVD - sporting a good transfer - from MGM as a part of their Midnight Madness double feature series. The decision was made with financial factors in mind."!  So bummer to anyone that didn't pick up the Midnite Movie series and isn't interested in Blu-ray!

I'm really glad they choose to go with the 116min (International) cut of Lifeforce on dvd as opposed to the shorter U.S. release, to me it seems like they would have reversed that but apparently the shorter cut is scarce?!  If there was something extra in the shorter cut I'd be interested in it (like with the changes added to Halloween II's tv edit) but I really can't see caring about a shorter cut of a film, which only gets further away from the director's original vision; In this films case Tobe Hooper's "director's cut" was 128min long.....would be great to see all that missing footage!  I'll definitely be picking up the Blu-ray/dvd combo pack (To bad they didn't just go with a standalone dvd!) in the future!

I may be watching Lifeforce alone. My girl would be comfortable with a certain Woman in the film. Hint, hint. Lol.

Well, I do have the previous DVD release of "The Vampire Lovers". So I guess I can save some money, for once.

I think that might have been Famous Monsters' gaffe.

That's who I meant. It's like using a Strange monster to illus the '31 "Frankenstein". Fans won't let you get away with it.  ;D

You'd think, if nothing else, they'd use a pic from "Dr. Phibes." Just one reason I'm not a big fan of FM3.0 or FM.com.

I have the Halloween II release, I love the extras (not so much the transfer of the film itself), it is a good companion to the regular no-frills release.  Some of those other titles sound pretty tasty also!
Beautiful moving, shifting colors!

I liked the Universal Blu-ray release a lot better. Better transfer and the Blu-ray came with a wonderful extra.
The film, Terror in the Aisles.
