Listened to a couple of heavy records last night.

Napalm Death: Utilitarian (2012)
*Everything you expect from ND. Totally pulverizing.

Loathe: I Let It In and It Took Everything (2020)
*I really like this. Def a metalcore band, but more than that. Mix of screaming and clean, melodic vocals. But what's really cool is how they mix in ambient, dreamy synthesizer sounds, and shoegaze guitar effects. Maybe too new school for the metal OGs out there, but I think it's good.

Great list. I love how Dan Lilker has that Mercyful Fate/King Diamond stuff front and center \m/. And Charlie rockin' a Sex Pistols t shirt. Awesome. Speaking of Dan Lilker, you ever listen to Brutal Truth? Killer stuff. I actually like BT more than his stuff in Nuclear Assault.

BOSTON - Don't Look Back

Just bought the CD. Haven't had the album since I sold all my LPs, a decade+ ago. 3, or 4 really good songs.
