Aynsley Dunbar was an incredibly talented drummer. One would think therefore that Doctor Dunbar's Prescription by the Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation would be an excellent LP:

Well it's not. It's muddy, directionless and underwhelming.

:-\

I always saw this in the budget bin. Now I know why.

I recently discovered Soundgarden's "Echo of Miles" album. It's a 3-disc, and specifically I've been burning through the covers disc.  Really fun and ecclectic choices, like Devo, The Stooges, Spinal tap, and Cheech and Chong! The Devo is probably my favorite!

1. "Swallow My Pride" - Green River
2. "Smokestack Lightning" - Howlin' Wolf
3. "Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey" - The Beatles
4. "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)" - Sly and the Family Stone
5. "Come Together" - The Beatles
6. "Stray Cat Blues" - The Rolling Stones
7. "Into the Void (Sealth)" - Black Sabbath
8. "Girl U Want" - Devo
9. "Touch Me" -   Fancy
10. "Can You See Me?" - The Jimi Hendrix Experience
11. "Homicidal Suicidal" - Budgie
12. "I Can't Give You Anything" - Ramones
13. "I Don't Care About You" - Fear
14. "Waiting for the Sun" - The Doors
15. "Search and Destroy" - The Stooges
16. "Big Bottom" - Spinal Tap
17. "Earache My Eye" - Cheech & Chong
Stay sick. Turn blue. Drop dead.

Highly, HIGHLY recommended, Mord.  I can upload it with a link if you want to check it out, if you haven't found it already.

Found it, thank you. I just don't know why I hadn't heard of it sooner. Great stuff.

I found it on total accident - it came up on my Queens of the Stone Age channel on Pandora.  This one, and Soundgarden's "Telephantasm." I glanced over and didn't recognize the artwork for either one and it piqued my curiosity.

DAMN, MIKE!!! Great choice. I just played the new audiophile pressing on vinyl. By the time it gets to that 2nd song....bam!! My insides explode. This brings up fond memories of my parents screaming at me about not playing it before breakfast.
