 Magazine - Real Life (1978) -
For my money, this is one of the best post-punk records ever. Smart, cynical, sophisticated,  and musically brilliant. I put it up there with Joy Division's "Unknown Pleasures", Gang of Four's "Entertainment", Birthday Party's "Junkyard", and P.I.L.'s "2nd Edition".

"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

Wicked Lester

One of my fave bands of the late 70's early 80's Joy Division. I found out the hard way to never ever listen to this while in a bad state of depression. I was,I did and the razor blade kept whispering to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsT_PvMR4j4

Very short life span, endless influence. Great band, great track, WL.

Yeah, tragic ending there. If there is a slight glimmer that cam out of it was the creation of New Order.

Berlin- Now It's My Turn

I had almost forgotten how powerful Terri Nunn's voice is til I listened to this song again..all these years later, she can still belt out those notes and is sexy as hell.
