I remember buying all these cheap albums that said "featuring Jimi Hendrix" (Isley Bros. etc),  only to be severely disappointed. No blazing guitar solos, just background stuff. You wouldn't even know he was on the record, if not for the cover.
All those old Springboard records from the 70s. They got my money to.

Went to see Judas Priest and Deep Purple last night----freakin' awesome! Here are some pics. I'm posting a pic of my t-shirt I rocked last night, I figured Mars will appreciate it. I cropped off my handsome mug to protect the innocent ;)

WOW! How awesome is that. The Priest were my fave band for well over a decade until I got into other genres of metal.
Saw them back in 90" when they opened up for KISS. Go figure :o

Great photos, Geezer. Priest/Deep Purple are coming to Kansas, soon. Plus....awesome shirt.

Lucifers friend. WAAY ahead of their time and a really overlooked band. THIS song was redone by Helloween early in their career.

This one reminds me of a little like Jethro Tull and almost gives me chills everytime I hear it
Overall IMO a GREAT band from that era and greatly overlooked.

This was the first Stone's album I ever bought. It still ranks as one of my favorites.

Man, I love all those Nick Cave/Warren Ellis scores! You should listen to their excellent scores for "Wind River" and "Hell or High Water". Great music to great films.

Truly a stunning album. Their version of Summertime is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard in my life.

I've got the Audio Fidelity disc mastered by Steve Hoffman and it never fails to bring a big smile to my face.
